Tajikistan President Official Visit in Thailand

On the occasion of the Official Visit of H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmonov, President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Thailand during August 8 – 12, 2005 as a guest of the Royal Thai Government. Thailand and Tajikistan have made a historic milestone on mutual cooperation ever since the falling of the Union of Soviet. Six Memorandums of Understanding over economics and counter drugs have been signed. Considering the most panoply economics and political packages to trample over the world energy crisis and anti-transorganized crimes, Tajik-Thai cooperation will be a perfect phenomenon for the furthering Thailand international protocols. This Bilateral Cooperation Masterpiece resulted from the stability and strength of the second-term administration, in fact, a historic first 4-year full term, ever, in Thailand, of H.E. Pol. Lt. Col. Thaksin Shinanwatra, democratically elected Prime Minister.

August 10, 2005, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmonov received presentations on Drugs Control in Thailand and the Royal Project on alternative development programmes by ONCB and the Mae Fah Luang Foundation.
