The ONCB with the support of Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA) has conducted a 3-year project on Technical Cooperation in Drug Control between Thailand and Bhutan from 2010 – 2012. In 2011, ONCB organized a study visit on drug prevention in school during 15 – 20 August 2011. There were seven of Bhutanese representatives led by Dr. Chencho Dorji, Head of Psychiatric Department, JDWNR Hospital, attended the program. The program was concluded with courtesy call on Director-General of TICA and wrap up session with the TICA team. Furthermore, during the program the Bhutanese delegation has signed get-well messages wishing His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand to recover well soon at the Siriraj Hospital.
